Laser cutting, engraving, CNC machining and product development — backed by real mechanical engineering experience. One studio, multiple processes, zero minimum order.
Not a hobbyist. Not a heavy industrial shop. Something in the middle.
ARTY Design is a Sydney-based custom making studio run by an experienced mechanical engineer with real manufacturing background. We combine mechanical design, CAD drafting, laser cutting, engraving, CNC machining and 3D printing under one roof — meaning you get a complete, cross-process service from one shop instead of going through many.
We think about more than just how something looks. Material selection, process choice, manufacturability, fit, finish and real-world use all factor in — whether the job is a single custom part or a 10,000-piece production run.
One-off parts, short runs and production batches welcome. If you have a drawing, a worn part, a rough sketch or just an idea — send it through and we will tell you what's possible.
ARTY Design provides laser engraving, acrylic laser cutting, CNC routing, CNC machining, CAD drafting, reverse engineering and prototype manufacturing services in Sydney, NSW — with Australia-wide delivery available.
Engineering rigour applied to every job. Cut, engrave, machine, prototype, reverse engineer, restore, finish, develop — we work from finished drawings, rough sketches, or an existing part.
From sketch to physical part. We combine laser cutting, CNC machining and 3D printing to get something real in your hands fast — before you commit to full production. Engineering-backed thinking on materials, process choice and real-world use.
A sample of the kinds of finished items, parts and projects we handle across creative, industrial, hospitality and product work. If you can describe it, we can probably make it.
A real-world example of what ARTY Design can deliver at scale — precision, consistency and production thinking applied to a high-volume job.
A 10,000-unit laser cut and engraved acrylic QR tile order for Mud Buddy Pottery. Each tile was cut to size and engraved with a high-resolution QR code — requiring precise repeatability across the entire run, consistent edge quality, and reliable QR scan performance on every single piece.
The job also included 100 custom 3D printed dispensing boxes and branded packaging — a complete end-to-end production solution designed and manufactured in-house.
"Need a high-volume run with consistent results? We have done it. Send through your brief and let us show you what's possible at scale."
Every project shown here is real work. No renders, no samples. Use the arrows on each card to browse photos within that project.
We work across a broad range of materials. Not locked into a narrow list — if the job calls for it and the process suits it, we can work with it.
Multiple machines across lasers, CNC, machining and 3D printing — meaning we can cross processes and offer a complete package service under one roof. One brief, one quote, one supplier.
ARTY Design is not a hobby laser shop and not a heavy industrial contractor. It sits in the space between: a custom fabrication studio with the engineering background to understand your problem properly and the hands-on capability to actually solve it.
The founder is a mechanical engineer with real fabrication and manufacturing floor experience — which means every job gets thinking beyond just appearance.
"Have an unusual job? Send it through. We are open to custom inquiries — from creative fabrication and branded products through to engineering support and prototype development."
Simple workflow, clear communication, no surprises. We can start from a finished drawing, a rough sketch, or a physical part.
Send your drawing, part or rough idea and we will get back to you with a quote. Usually within a few hours. No job too unusual. No minimum order.
Send a drawing, a part, a photo or a rough idea. No minimum order. Most quotes back within a few hours.
Send a sketch, photo, DXF, DWG, STEP, STL, PDF drawing, or just describe what you need with dimensions, material, quantity and deadline.
Not sure what file type you need? Send what you have — we will guide you from there.
